Today was one of the most exciting construction days since we began this project! Walls went up. Like working a 3-dimensional puzzle, the pieces are built separately (horizontally), raised up and fitted together (vertically), then, literally, they are bolted to the concrete stem wall. I could not break away; I stayed and watched for hours. I met Javier and his framing crew, tried out a bit of my very bad Spanish, and marveled at this process. Today, the Westfield, Indiana landscape was changed forever — at least for the forseeable future — by the standing of our walls. You have seen the last pictures of a flat Lot 98, about which we are very happy. This progress is so great.
