We have floors. We have walls. We have ceilings. We have ceiling texture! Things are looking up (pun intended, of course). It appears as if the texture we have was applied with a stomp. Now, this is a fascinating process … best with two people, one to roll on the drywall “mud” and the other to follow with the stomp (brush) on a pole. While the rolled-on drywall compound is still thick and damp, the stomper presses (stomps) the round flared-out brush straight up into the ceiling using rapid repetitive movements — to make the starburst patterns. These crew members could certainly make a show out of their work process.
