Not that we ever had a winter this year … or even a spring for that matter. With the 90 degree temps of late, we seem to have ventured straight into mid-summer. Nevertheless, we have seen some signs of life in our flower beds and yard. From the roses in bloom to our hard-working tractor sprinkler, the greening of the Maple View Drive exterior areas is certainly coming about nicely.

We did have to take some steps to protect the driveway edges of the yard. You can see the rocks we scavenged to line the places that are most susceptible to damage (mostly from careless drivers running off the road). Here’s to the hope that we can actually realize some full grass growth along that border.
